Alex Brouwer

Alex  started in the renewable energy sector in 2000.  With his  university background in chemical technology, he started out in bio-energy. Since 2003 he has been involved in developing, contracting, financing, and realizing small and large offshore and onshore wind energy projects. Since 2017, Alex also develops and realizes solar parks.

Alex is a big team player and has the ambition to be the driving force within a project team. His motto according to an old Kenyan saying:

‘If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.’

From 2008 he worked as an independent consultant under the name ‘Renewable Value’. Together with Erik Houtepen, he is the founder of Lighthouse Projects. Under the motto ’together you get further’, he and his team want to be the beacon to guide your sustainable (wind) energy project to a succesful delivery
