On the outer edge of Maasvlakte 2, Eneco is building a wind farm with a capacity of more than 100 megawatts on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 22 innovative onshore wind turbines together generate 416 GWh of green electricity annually. With this electricity, the entire Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management will be energy neutral by 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

Commissioned by our customer Eneco, I am involved in the Maasvlakte 2 wind farm as a construction manager. In this role I am responsible, among other things, for coordinating the interfaces between the various contractors and stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

The construction of this wind farm is unique. because no less than 12 wind turbines are being built on an offshore construction (monopile) and 10 wind turbines in the dike.<\/span><\/p>\n
